THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE IS IN OUR OFFICE

TELEMEDICINE AND TELEHEALTH AT Dr.

MEEROFF'S OFFICE

Hi, friends, this is Dr. Meeroff with important news!
We have introduced TELEMEDICINE AND TELEHEALTH into our practice with great success!!
Telemedicine is the practice of medicine using technology to deliver medical care at its best. A physician in one location uses a telecommunication tool to deliver care to a patient at a distant site.
Telehealth refers broadly to the use of electronic technologies and services to provide care and services at-a-distance. That is consultations, writing and sending prescriptions to pharmacies, ordering laboratory and imaging tests, delivering medical products such as vitamins and nutritional supplements, etc.
All medical societies and medical government control agencies strongly support the use of telemedicine as an appropriate and efficient means of improving health if conducted within the context of appropriate standards of care.

WE MUST LISTEN TO THE ONES WHO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION

WE ARE STILL IN TROUBLE: WE MUST BE PROACTIVE !!!

Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist has a stark message for U.S. leaders: “Shut down the country everywhere now to quell the spread of the coronavirus. Failing to do so would be a recipe for disaster”

In an article published in The Washington Post on Tuesday March 31, 2020 he said the U.S. had already “missed the opportunity to get ahead” of the virus. But, he stressed, it wasn’t too late for mitigating actions.

“The choices we and our leaders make now will have an enormous impact on how soon case numbers start to go down, how long the economy remains shut down and how many Americans will have to bury a loved one”

FROM THE MEEROFF TEAM TO OUR PATIENTS AND FRIENDS

LESSONS FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The 2019 Coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing world epidemic of a SARS-CO2 virus known as COVID-19.

The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Province of Hubei in Central China in November 17, 2019 and it is since 3/11/2020 a WORLD PANDEMIC. It expanded rapidly due to the non-stop travel and tourism characteristic of our times. The virus is very contagious and it is affecting the entire world population in circumstances unknown to humanity.

It is very easy ! Just call our office at 954 771 9297 and arrange with our front desk personel a teleconsultation. Dr Meeroff will contact you as soon as possible to complete the consultation. THE BAD EFFECT OF NOISE POLUTION

THE BAD EFFECT OF NOISE POLUTION TO HUMAN HEALTH

Noise is defined as unwanted sound. The potential health effects of noise pollution are numerous, pervasive, persistent, and medically and socially significant.
Noise produces direct and cumulative adverse effects that impair health and that degrade residential, social, working, and learning environments with corresponding real (economic) and intangible (well-being) losses.  It interferes with sleep, concentration, learning, communication, and recreation.

Attending a sports event is now a terrifying nightmare. We hope that people go to a spectator sport event to be entertained by the sport and not to suffer the tyranny of obnoxious atmospheric venue noise. Hopefully people want to experience a good spectacle of sports and not being tortured by loud, cacophonic incessant and unnecessary noise. Furthermore, that noise, as proven by the incidents during the Men's FIFA World Cup played a few years ago in South Africa, interferes with the game itself.
